56 - High Times - John Rooney (Writer of High Times)

John Rooney is the mastermind behind High Times. Born and bred in Glasgow, having worked in advertising for many years, in his early 40's he tried his hand at screenwriting...and wouldn't you know...he just happened to be a genius. He sat down with us to tell us how he came up with Blackout, the short film that eventually became High Times. He gives us an insight into the trials and tribulations of getting a screenplay made into a reality, and what it is like to be a writer for TV shows like River City (psst...no fun!)
